Productive Capacity After Selection
2426/3237 kg/acre with an average yield of approcimately 65%.

Vintage
Only fully ripe grapes are harvested by hand, early in the morning.


Winemaking
Immediately after picking the whole undamaged grapes are carefully pressed. The fermentation-temperature is permanently controlled

Soil And Climate

Red soil by decomposition of limestone abounding in ferrac hydroxide.
The Valley d'Itria is located in the Murgia hills of South Puglia between the Adriatic and Ionian coasts. From September onwards the temperature varies from 25-30° C during the day and 5-8° C in the night. This climate enhances notably the aroma and the quality of our wines.
